    Hello my name is Alessandra Zuniga. I am a Ph.D. student in the ecology program at San Diego State University. Our experimental vineyard at the Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve in Fallbrook CA is in its 4th year of production. We have half an acre of Cabernet Sauvignon and half an acre of Syrah that will be ripe and ready for harvest in early to mid September. SMER is unique in that it is home to ongoing interdisciplinary research and education on California native ecosystems and sustainable perennial agriculture. Purchasing our grapes would help to support the current research and outreach efforts underway at SMER. We are happy to negotiate a reasonable price for our grapes.
